a remarkable true story of resilience

With a genuine look of welcoming compassion, Come From Away is the kind of night at the theatre that resets you.

Based on an astonishing true story, the musical follows 7,000 passengers suddenly stranded in Gander, Newfoundland, after the events of September 11, 2001. In a moment when fear and suspicion could have taken over, a small town chose another road. Neighbors opened their homes, shared what little they had, fed strangers, comforted, and made room—proving that compassion isn’t naïve; it’s powerful.

Told with a truly unique blend of music, humor, and heart, Come From Away’s 12-person cast invites you to witness the best of who we can be. Cultures clash, tensions flare, and grief shows up in complicated ways, but again and again you’ll see how people can meet crisis with care. Every character, from a trailblazing pilot to an unexpected love connection, is inspired by true stories, and shows what happens when everyone is far from home and home is hurting.

Since its 2017 Broadway debut, Come From Away has earned major acclaim and awards. Come for the catchy songs and rush of energy. Leave with a reminder—right when we need it most—that unity can be real, and kindness can be contagious.
