​ St. Patrick’s Day Closures

• New: Ohio Street between Senate Street and West Street will be completely closed on March 16 from 3:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. for the Hoosier Lottery Greening of the Canal.
• New: Multiple streets will experience total closures on March 17 at various times for the 41st Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade
  • North Street between Meridian Street and Pennsylvania Street from 6:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Pennsylvania Street between St. Clair Street and North Street from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Fort Wayne Avenue between Delaware Street and North Street from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • North Street between Meridian Street and Delaware Street from 9:30 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
  • Pennsylvania Street between St. Clair Street and Ohio Street from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • Meridian Street between Ohio Street and 10th Street from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • St. Clair Street between Meridian Street and Pennsylvania Street from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • Michigan Street between Meridian Street and Pennsylvania Street from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • Vermont Street between Meridian Street and Pennsylvania Street from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
  • Vermont Street and Ohio Street between Meridian Street and Pennsylvania Street from 11:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
• New: St. Clair Street between Broadway Street and College Avenue will be completely closed on March 17 from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. for the Annual Firefighters St. Patrick's Day Party.
• New: Monument Circle and all spokes will be completely closed on March 17 from 7:00 a.m. to midnight for the Downtown Indy, Inc. Blarney Bash sponsored by Kilroy's.
• New: Multiple streets will experience partial and total closures on March 17 for the 30th Annual Shamrock Run & Parade Walk:
  • Total closure on St. Clair Street between Park Avenue and College Avenue from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
  • Partial closures from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.:
    • Massachusetts Avenue between College Avenue and Bellefontaine Street to 10th Street
    • College Avenue between 10th Street and 13th Street 
    • 13th Street between College Avenue and Park Avenue 
    • Park Avenue between 13th Street and 12th Street
    • 12th Street between Park Avenue and Central Avenue
    • Central Avenue between 12th Street and East Street 
    • East Street between East Street and Walnut Street
    • Walnut Street between East Street and Massachusetts Avenue
    • Massachusetts Avenue between Walnut Street and New York Street
    • New York Street between Delaware Street and College Avenue
    • College Avenue between New York Street and St. Clair Street
       

Local Street closures  

• New: Multiple streets will experience partial and total closures on March 18 for the Circle City Donut Dash:
  • E. Brookside Avenue between N. Newman Street and Commerce Avenue from 6:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
  • S. Brookside Parkway between E. Brookside Avenue and the park entrance to Brookside Park from 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
• Meridian Street from Arizona Street to just south of Morris Street is closed until further notice for Old Southside neighborhood improvements. 
• Multiple streets are experiencing lane closures until further notice due to construction surrounding Gainbridge Fieldhouse:
  • Pennsylvania Street: Left lanes are closed south of Maryland Street and Georgia Street.

  • Delaware Street: Left lanes are closed north of the CSX tracks to Maryland Street.

NORTH SPLIT  

• The North Split remains under construction with various closures and traffic redirects until further notice:
  • I-70 westbound lanes through the North Split interchange are now open.
  • I-70 eastbound lanes through the North Split interchange are now open.
  • I-70 westbound and I-65 northbound traffic is being redirected across the median onto the new flyover bridge.
  • Traffic heading from I-65 southbound to I-70 eastbound is being directed over the new flyover bridge.
• I-65 southbound collector/distributor (C/D) ramp will be restricted to one lane until further notice to allow for structure reconstruction.
• The I-70 westbound/I-65 southbound collector/distributor (C/D) ramp to Ohio Street is closed until Spring 2023. The newly constructed C/D exit to Michigan Street will remain open during the Ohio Street ramp closure.

IU health closures

• Senate Avenue between 14th Street and 13th Street will remain closed until further notice for construction activities.
• Ring Road is now complete.
• Closures for IU School of Medicine construction work until further notice:
  • Reconfiguration work for the Neuroscience Center circle drive is complete. The roundabout is reduced to one lane in some areas, but channeling devices will direct traffic as needed. 
  • A permanent closure of 15th Street between Senate Avenue and just east of the circle drive is in place.
• Closures for building demolition and utility work until further notice:
  • Full closure along Lafayette Street between 16th and 14th Streets.
• Closures for Capitol View construction until further notice:
  • Intermittent closures along 14th Street between Capitol Avenue and Byram Place.
  • Full closure along 15th Street between Capitol Avenue and Byram Place.
  • Full closure along Bryam Place between 16th Street and 15th Street.
• Closures for new hospital construction until further notice:
  • Full closure along Anderson and 15th Streets between Senate and Capitol Avenues.
  • Intermittent lane closures are expected along Senate Avenue between 14th Street and 16th Street, but two-way traffic will be maintained.
