AMBER WAVES

Hard times mean hard decisions as an Indiana family faces the prospect of losing their farm. This small-town tale returns by popular demand, featuring music by Tim Grimm and Jason Wilber, with generous helpings of courage, love and humor.

APPROXIMATE RUN TIME: 2 hours and 25 minutes, including a 15-minute intermission

Amber Waves is a family drama that contains some adult situations and strobe light effects.

Join IRT staff and cast immediately after the performance for a post-show discussion that covers a variety of interesting topics related to the show. Post-show discussions typically last for 20 minutes.

ASL/AD PERFORMANCE

The IRT offers ASL/AD services to our patrons with vision and hearing needs. Patrons with hearing needs are encouraged to sit in the interpretation zone and meet with the interpreter before the show. Please join a special community conversation immediately following this performance. Indiana farmer Isabella Chism will share her perspective as a woman in farming and the challenges, needs, and hopes of farming today. Chism is the 2nd Vice President of Indiana Farm Bureau, Chair of the Women’s Leadership Committee at INFB, and farms with her family in Howard County. We thank Indiana Farm Bureau, the largest general agricultural organization in the state, for their support.
