Youth Workshop: do-si-do and dickens

Saturday, November 19, 2022 | Bring your youth group to an afternoon of holiday fun at the IRT!

When you arrive at the Theatre, enjoy a traditional Christmas snack tasty enough for the Cratchit’s feast. Then enjoy the 1:30 PM matinee of A Christmas Carol. After the show you will have the opportunity to meet Scrooge himself in a question and answer session, and then have a dance party where you will learn a jig that will be the envy of the Fezziwigs’ guests. It will be a Dickens of a time at the IRT!

Indy’s holiday tradition

Banish your bah humbugs, and celebrate the season at the IRT! Scrooge’s visits to the past, the present, and the future bring us hope in the dark of winter, when we need it most. A Christmas Carol celebrates the power of kindness, family, and love in this treasured tale filled with laughter, tears, and redemption.

APPROXIMATE RUN TIME: 2 hours and 5 minutes, including a 20-minute intermission.

A Christmas Carol contains mild profanity and depictions of ghosts and other imagery and effects that might frighten young children. Recommended for patrons 4th grade and above. Due to content and length, OneAmerica Mainstage and Upperstage productions are not suitable for children under 4 years of age, and it is the IRT’s policy that children under 4 are not permitted in these Theatres.
